My battery in my Bolens 1050 tractor goes dead in just a couple of days. The battery is new and I checked the wiring for shorts. The ignition switch tests good. The Amp gage shows charging when tractor is started. Could it still be the voltage regulator? Any ideas are welcome.

Perhaps. There is a nice 1050 wiring schematic in the photo section of the Bolens club on Yahoo.

You probably have already tried this, but disconnect the negative cable on your battery and use a 12volt test light or electronic tester between the post and the cable to see if there is a draw. Trace backwards from there.
