They're good for cultivating. The models with hoods are under powered for plowing, unless you have a good loose soil.

Which type did you get?? They made a good number of them over the years and sears sold them. Is it a walk behind type or one of the others??

Both walk behind. Maybe early 50s. We got 2 sickle attachments, plow, disc, mower deck, bush hog, cultivator,roller, Haven't tried to start them yet, owner says they run.

They where good in there day but that was before tillers etc. I have one my self thats a walk behind, not back um up other then arm strong type. I have a bunch of stuff for mine also but I never use it and it hasn't been started in years.
