155 case garden tractor generator

I have a case 155 tractor it is generator start what i want to know is the generator positive ground here's the generator number 1101970-7F23 delco .the model number of the tractor is case 155 hydra -static drive 9615295.thanks for any help.

All Case lawn and garden tractors are negative ground. The start/gen units used on the Kohler K engines are grounded to the engine block by way of the mounting bolts. The negative battery cable should be grounded to the block to make sure there is no issue with a bad connection where the motor is bolted to the frame.

Should be 12 volt, negative ground.
