Folks get your Wheel Horse ready for a FUN TIME at the SOUTH MOUNTAIN FAIRGROUNDS IN ARENDTSVILLE, PA. ON JUNE 20th and 21st 2008 as the Wheel Horse Collectors Club presents the 10th ANNUAL WHEEL HORSE SHOW!!!!
This will be the10th year for being the biggest single make garden tractor in the world and for this show more fun with surprizes will be going on during the show!
For this 10th show Cecil Pond has been invited to help celebrate the event. The featured Wheel Horse model will be the 1968 500 SPECIAL since 2008 will be the 40th anniversary for this special model. A 500 SPECIAL will be raffled off at the show!
Events during the show will include a Show Opening Ceremony, a tech session on carburetors and fuel systems, new driving skill games for young and old, Friday Evening FREE ice cream social, Friday Nihgt Cruise Night, parades both days, Huge Wheel Horse swap meet and FUN for the whole FAMILY.
Wheel Horse Show "T" shirts and hats will be for sale during the show and dash plaques will be given to all tractor exhibitors.
You can camp at the South Mountain for $20.00 Thursday night, Friday night will be FREE and if you wish to stay Saturday night it will be $20.00. There showers and restrooms but no electrical hook ups. Gettysburg has lots of hotels and remember reservations are a must since Gettysburg is a tourist area.
We have a local chruch group that serves food in the fairgrounds resturant from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.
Display set up starts at 9:00 am Thursday.
Folks if you have never been to the Wheel Horse Show before and want to know if it is worth the drive just ask any one who has ben to the show before. You do not have to be a Wheel Horse Collectors Club member to show your tractor and this show is FREE to attend. There is no charge for swap meet space but it is for Wheel Horse items only. Start to make your plans to attend as this will be a bigger then usual show!!!

Bill, I wish you could move the location of the show around a little. I would love to come to it, but at $3.45 diesel fuel, it kinda limmits where I go to shows. The IH red power round up does that. I cannot go to all of them, but when they get to Iowa, or Illinois, I can go. Just a thought. I used to have a lot of Wheel Horse, got rid of them, let someone have them that would restore or use them, but I still like the little tractors.
