Blowing the everlasting snow out my NE Iowa rural home setting when the trusty JD214 quits with not a sputter, no unusual manuevering on my part. No spark, replaced condenser with one off a 212 that was running last fall. Still nothing What now, coil?Your suggestions? Thanks, Leonard

Do you still have 12v to the pos side of the coil? That would be first thing to check, then, check to see if you have 12v to points when they are closed. then make sure points are clean.

that coil needs at least 8 volts to fire,so be sure voltage is up when cranking and running . used oem point and condenser . i have not had luck with the aftermarket ones.
