Spec number for Tecumseh sears SS12 engine

Hi, I have a 71 SS12 and the only number stamped on the engine is 143602022. The sears model number is 917.25630 a nd serial is 4196.

Can anyone tell me what my tecumseh spec number is?

According to vintage sears tractor website,engine model 143602022 is a tec model HH120 making it 12 HP. The sears tractor number 91725630 is a suburban 12. Haven't been able to locate the tec spec number yet. Still searching. But as JT said, all you need to get parts is the sears number.

I was unable to find a cross reference for 143.602022,howsoever 143.605022 is H50-65275h and 143.606022 is H70-130071.The only 2 listed that is close.Check the numbers again.

Like I have posted before go to yahoo groups and look for old sears garden tractors there are about 5 groups and one has just about every number for them already broke down by model and year very helpful info to be had .

Northern tool couldn't do anything with the sears number.
I read elsewhere that a small engine book has a chart listing sears & tecumseh numbers in a table. I'm hoping someone wiht that book sees this and doesn't mind looking the number up for me.

The 143.602022 is the Sears engine model number for a Tecumseh, used to look up parts. that is all you need to get any info you would need.
