Re: no power under load? in reply to will, 03-28-2002 09:20:31
I had a 11hp B&S with similar symptoms, rebuilt the carb several times looking for the passage that was blocked. It would high idle great untill put under load then it would quickly bog down. This winter I tore it down as I just couldn't stand it any longer. I found that the exh valve seat and exh valve wear pattern were way too wide and that there was 0.00 clearance. 0 valve lash. I went ahead and replaced the rings, new valves, (with proper clearance). It runs like it should now, and I never touched the carb this time. Something to think about.

Does/did Honda make a 4WD, 2WS (front) tractor? Are there specs and features available that I can review? What attachments were/are available? Price points? Thanks for any help. Regards, Troy

I have a Honda RT5000 4wd tractor with quick disconnect dozer blade, 3-pt hitch and mid mount mower deck. Also have wheel weights and chains. The stock Honda dozer blade was professionally widened for snow removal. Everything works great!

I'm looking for a copy of the mower deck manual. Please let me know if you have a copy.

We may be interested in selling. We're considering buying a much larger compact tractor with a bucket.

Thanks. It's located in Vermont.

I just recently bought a Honda RT-5000. It didn't have a mower for it so we bought a used front mount mower for the tractor. Unfortunatly it did come with any mounting instructions and are resources have ended here in Northern Ontario Canada. We are in desperate need of help. Do you know way I can get this problem resolved???

Call Cub Cadet at 1-800-800-7310 and order them. IMHO, best quality, low shipping price, best manual price.

Dear Jim, I just purchased a tractor like you have for sale and my tractor has seen better days. I was looking for a schematic or plans for the tractor when I noticed your ad. My tractor was supposed to have been rebuilt last year but has been sitting since then. I guess that they have bypassed all of the safety features and now it has trouble charging the battery. If you don't mind me asking what is a good price to ask for one of these machines if I can get it running and back in good shape. I bought this to fix up but if I can't then I am going to part it out.
Thanks in advance.
