I can forward some info I found helpful. Read On. I am rebuilding my 1966-year Bolens Model 1050 192-01 Garden Tractor-- and several attachments for it. I hope to have everything together by the first snow.

I hope this helps.

With Model and Serial Numbers handy you could try obtaining manuals from Bruneaus (see bottom); or call Garden Way in New York 1-800-628-6776 if a newer unit. Scanned files (very handy) from Sonny's and others below. Keep reading.

Troy-Bilt (Bolens) has service and new parts-- Check out Troy-Bilt website>Link
Click>Link on "Buy Locally", Click on "Dealer Locator". Enter your Zip Code and you have it.
Troy-Bilt bought out Bolens, but support the old name and the new name under parent company "Garden Way". I am told the current versions of the bigger Troy-Bilt tractors are based on Bolens design. I may have read that current smaller riders are based on other designs. Ask any of the guys below for better information/ advice than I have.

Under the Photographs sections at these sites, you can find Specifications pages with diagrams (including wiring); years of manufacture; and other helpful information, but you have to obtain membership first. Happens immediately, and is no-cost.

At various websites, you will see some of the following names (and others) as sources of both used and parts, supplies, and attachments. These guys are experts, and a great source of advice. Keep them for future reference--

Bruneau's Power Equipment (Bobby Bruneau) 843-889-8377 4305 Hwy 165 Hollywood, SC 29449-- rbruneau@awod.com

You will also need publications for the Tractor-- and for the Mower Deck. I purchased some publication reprints from Bruneaus-- and scanned files from others. Also with Model and Serial Numbers handy you could call Garden Way in New York 1-800-628-6776.

It may be awhile till I get back to this site. If you care to respond, use e-mail david.a.sohn@juno.com. I hope this helps.

Do you have the ST120 with the vertical shaft
engine? If so, I havent seen any blowers for that
model. Contact Richard at Sonnys farm supply and
he would know or have one.
