My tractor started last week fine, now this week I have no spark. What is the best way to troubleshoot?? I've tried new plug, checked the wiring and recharged the battery.

The Cub 125 was made in 67/68. As far as the rest goes, E. all of the above. I'd check the head and head gasket. If the cooling fins are pluged or the tin is missing the head overheats and will melt on the Kohler 1 cyl engines. It's been a long time but I think that the valves are ajustable without grinding. Could be that the wronge plug was used and melted a hole in the piston.

Terry, If I'm not mistaken the only one that had the pan welded to the frame was the 145. The 125 and 165 mounted the engines to a flat plate and later they all mounted to motor mounts.
