While plowing snow, the tranny decided not to move forward after shifting from reverse to 2nd gear. Letting out the clutch all the way, tractor doesn't move, however, depressing the clutch pedal nearly all the way down the tractor will move both forward and reverse like normal. The drive shaft to the trans is spinning, clutch engagement is OK. Main spring for clutch around the driveshaft isn't broken. Is there a shear pin at the back of the drive shaft before entering the trans?? HELP!! More snow to plow!

Yes there is a shear pin I use to pull a cub cadet and keep shear pins with me just in case. They look like a standard roll pin but they are not go to your cub cadet dealer and get the right pin.

There is a roll pin that connects the drive shaft to the input shaft of the trans. Check that.
