We are located in Invercargill New Zealand and are looking for information on discs. We intend to build a set of 12 foot wheel operated discs known in NZ as American A Line.
Can any one help me with where I could purchase new or secondhand parts or are there kits to assist in building these. What I require info on is bearings
bearing housings
1"1/2 square axels
20" plain blades
9" spacers.
Your help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Doug.

I think we have that type disc here in SE Texas USA that you're talking about. Check out the link it will have the common name for the bearing and blocks.
If they're not available in NZ, just holler back and I'll post some yank sites here for salvage and new parts.

A farm supply company in the USA that has a lot of disc parts for all brands is Shoup. New stuff, they have a web page I thought.

Shoup doesn't have a website, but Sloan Express does, and they do have bearings.

I been looking for a mail order bunch. Thank you Tim, this will be handy. I looked over there and they have lot of things that the local dealers here won't order for you. Thanks again.
