Watch that video "real" close. Like back ground, tractor, and such. I didn't see it until it was pointed out to me but they speed up the film to make it look like its running at speed. A fella who bought two of them (over hundred grand) said they are slow, always broke down, and keeping the fancy hyd switching mechs clean is impossible. Screwed with them for over a year. Finally sued to get a refund, and got it. Good thing too, saved his farm. Had he lost he'd been bankrupt.

We looked into them too. They're pretty pricey plus if you run multiple balers you have to have multiple balebandits. You also have the added costs of the metal bands and you still have to have a way to move the bunches of bales out of the field. Its a good looking rig, but it doesn't seem to fit very well into our operation.

WyoDave, I have seen some of the pix that you have posted on this site and wanted to know what baler do you use. Looks like you have a excellent setup. Thanks for your time.

We're running JD 348 balers. Just traded off two that we estimated had 650,000 bales a piece through them with no complaints. The new ones should be here by haying time. Hope they're as good as our last ones.

I looked at one to upgrade from a NH bale wagon. Couldnt stand the $50,000 sticker price (and that was before steel took a 30% jump).
