Hi All,

Snowbound, so started my day at 3am doing maintenance. Anyone need a paperweight?

Then, I open the door and saw this:

Which translates into my having to take care of this little chore:

Almost as bad as milkin' cows..... but, not quite. :>)

So it looks like the trash bag trick didn't work.

Looks like you got a little more than we did here in north central NE. Weather reports were forecasting 10 to 15 and we ended up with 4 or 5. Didn't hurt my feeling at all. I had enough winter with what came in late Nov. and early Dec.

It's about 10F here and the wind is blowin' at about 15 mph. It's days like this that make me wish I had a cab on at least one tractor! It's supposed to get to -20F tonight and wind chills doown to -35 - 40F. My neighbor's calvin' and I'm stove up from some surgery or I'd be helpin' him. He says we live in the "Banana Belt of Montana" but he probably wouldn't say that for the next few days.

Know what the difference between a dairy and prison is?

In prison you don't milk cows!

Throw another log on the fire and enjoy the moisture-summer's comin'

No big deal its just that time of year yet and we really have not had a winter yet. How many tv or toys do you have with all those dish on roof. I hate to have them there cause in few years next thing you have is leaking roof. How many more those old chain balers you want they nto worth anything in my area and unless its net wrapped anymore you can't give the rounds away. So I presume this is just for you playing with.

At least you got a nice veiw from your back door. Here in N.E. Iowa were starting to get hit with the same weather. Looks like the dark side of the moon out here in the flat lands.

I"d rather have that view than what I have to look at. I look out my windows and see other houses (I live in town). Yup, DM area has some good slick spots and blowing snow.

Dont get me wrong. I wouldnt trade my 1/2 mile long driveway for a paved one in town for love nor money.
How much snow did you get down there? Up here north of Waterloo we seem to be getting alot less then the weather guessers said we would. It's hard to tell though what with the wind blowing so hard. Oh well, springs acommin.

I"d love a 1/2 mi drive. Yup, the meterologists goofed again, I think we only got about 1 1/2-2inches, but the wind makes it hard to tell. Just looked at the radar, everything is east of us now, nothing between that front that came through and the rockies. Wind has let down a bit now and we"re seeing blue sky. Where abouts north of Waterloo do you live? Most of my mom"s side lives in the Allison/ Bristow area.

We are east of Allison. Live over by Denver/ Readlyn. As far as the 1/2 mile long driveway. The wife and I love living out here but it can be a real challenge sometimes. The pic I posted was on a good day. I was just out playing around. I went to get the mail at the end of the lane.

Yes Sir,

That's what it looked like here out and away from the timber yesterday. Looks to be breakin' up a bit today.

Okay, I've had enough winter! :>)
