Anybody ever see a Model H JD manure spreader on steel?? They were made from '39 to '51, two wheel ground driven units with a steel box. The earlier version was a Series 47. Just curious....Thanks in advance.

The series as I understand it is just the year they were made 47 = 1947, 51 = 1951

Yes- during WWII with the rubber shortage , most wheels were all steel. The rubber missing from one H spreader probably put rubber on one Army howitzer.
