How much is a reasonable price for a working JD 14t baler.

Gave $500 for mine two years ago. It has baled 4800 bales and have only replaced shear pins,

When I had mine I'd given 225 for it. It looked like somebody had half fixed after a demo derby, but it worked fine and parts were no problem.

I've seen them go for a lot more than that auctions.

I must have paid too much for a 14T baler, bought it at an implement sales and service dealer fairly good shape, one new knoter, only missing two guards one covering the hay feed auger and the drive shaft. COST $750. Just got it 2/5/03, I'll see how she works this season.

around here, $300 tops

The newest 14T has to be at least 38 years old.

My grandfather had a 1957 14T, used the living daylights out of it. It was a good baler for its day, but I wouldn't want another one. I have a 336 now, next step is a 338, if I get some money this year . . . .

I've got two. Paid $800 for one in GOOD shape and 250 for one in fair shape. The one I paid $250 for may be a better mechanicaly baler. Parts ok , but you may have to make some
