I have a 1964 model John Deere Gyro Mower 3-pt hook Bush hog that I currently use with my JD 10-10 tractor. I would like to use this mower on my John Deere 60 but need a way to stabilize the mower side to side as well as control mowing depth. Any ideas on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Trade it for a pull-type Gyro-Mower.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, with the amount of backing and mowing that I do, a trailer-type bush hog would be less than ideal. Any other thoughts?
Adrian

The later JDs had sway blocks for the 3 point, don't know if your 60 has them or not, but the sway blocks could be positioned any number of ways to allow the hitch to sway if needed, or not sway if that was necessary.

Any idea what a sway block looks like? A photo would be helpful if you have one.
