I echo the better than nuthin' sentiments. I use one as a down and dirty reminder I can take to the job and get greasy handprints on. My factory manuals stay inside.

Like I have said many times before, one compliments the other, places they are better and other places the orignal is better, but perhaps a picture in orignal is not quite at a good angle to see what you want and the IT&T may have a different view that shows what you need to see. Me if I could have both I would. And there very possible could be a difference in quality for each different model tractor, one IT&T good, next model bad and same for orignal

IT manuals are priceless treasures. You can use them to hold the door open for ventilation on a hot day. Or use them on the workbench top to protect the manufacture's real manuals from grease stains.

I&T manuals are better than nothing, but not much. Try to find the original manuals for your tractor, or at least reproductions of the originals. I have used those I&T manuals, they are very disappointing. I refuse to ever buy a new one.

Rusty is absolutely correct.

While they are better than NOTHING, in most cases, they are a very POOR substitute for the OEM shop manuals.

You doubt me? For example, try finding hydraulic troubleshooting and flow charts, common in the factory manuals, in an I&T manual.

However, they ARE more readily available quickly.
