Been researching balewagons for a few years and finally looking into purchasing one. How much difference is there between the 1033 and 1037? I believe the 1037 has a hydraulic rolling rack but is there any other major differences? Is there a remote fender control kit available for the 1033? Any suggestions appreciated as well as if anyone knows where to find a good used 1033 or 1037 around Iowa or midwest.

The 1037 is the updated version of the 1034. Main difference between the 1033 and 1034 is how the rolling rack retracts and the lack of the single bale unload feature on the 1033. I've had a 1033 and a 1034. Wish I hadnt sold my 1033, the hyraulic retraction is more hassle than its worth, and I have only used the single bale unload once in 8 years. As to locations, I'm a repeat customer of Roeders in Kansas. Not sure where else to get one though I see them all over in points west and Canada.

If I read your post correct, the 1037 will single unload then?

That I can not confirm, somewhere I have a book on one. If I remember correctly, the single unload feature became an option with the development of the newer 1037 series wereas it was standard on the 1034.

I have a balewagon that holds 36 small bales. Did it have a number at one time or was it built before NH owned the balewagons?
