Cleaning up some of my junk, maybe sell, maybe haul home, maybe scrap. I"d like an idea if any of this is worth anything. I"ve seen some things around so I have an idea on a few things, but would like some more input. Ballpark figures if possible. Thanks.

That"s quite the bone yard you have. A few items may have a little sale value other than scrap iron, particularly the vehicles.

If it were me I'd put it all on Ebay, no reserve. You'll be surprised what that stuff would bring.

I agree with Luke. List it on eBay with no reserve. Never give away anything you can sell!

In your description, state that it will be scapped for salvage if not sold. Local pick up only with no shipping available.

The No. 4 sickle mower will make somebody a good mower. Ask at least $50 - $100 for the JD mower.

Wish you were closer to Texas.

Depends on where you are at. Some of the implements you have are kinda sought after by tractor clubs, they like to have some of it to be able to set up demonstrations for their annual shows. In Illinois, people go crazy over the dump rakes, they think they make good yard ornaments.

I'll have to move them home before that, got three weeks left on the lease where they are sitting, might not be enough time, and I still have to clean out more junk before I can really get time for them anyway. I've seen rake wheels around, for $40 or so, got a pile of more than 30 of those here, in addition to a few more rakes, haven't seen any prices on the whole rake.

Mounts for one dump rake on each side, and one behind too. All hand operated I guess, guess it was fun dumping them in an even row.

Are you sure about that being for dump rakes? If so, what an overkill to use big angle iron! Dump rake hitches could be made from 4 X 4 wood and get the job done.

I sat down went over everything , I put a fair asking price on each item the total came to $4ooo People looking for somthing free will say no, chase them away. I live too far away. The chevy truck in primer is worth $500 that body can be put on another body that is in running order I have seen this done with excellent results. I hope to find some time and send you a fair market pice list when I get back. DON'T GIVE AWAY. DON'T THROW AWAY...

Thank you! You don't have to spend a lot of time at it though.... Just nice to have an opinion other than my own, makes it easier to get a firm asking price. I know it's hard to tell with just pictures. Haven't taken the time in a long time to give a thorough look at anything, as far as figuring out anything mechanical, I know they aren't good, but are mostly there, aside from the Chevy is missing some parts that can't be seen in the picture. Got a couple more JD tractor frames like in the pic sort of, might be from an A or something, again, haven't looked, several other similar JD parts. I've got a time limit as far as keeping it where it is. I will probably haul most of it here, if I don't get decent local offers within a while, then I can take my time with it.

I think that you would be suprised on just how much you can get for some of that. Folks seek out those old trucks for parts/restore. Some of it has green paint on it and that is always desirable. If you have the time, you could part out a lot of it and make more than scrap price. Some of the other farm equipment just might sell. Would be worth putting some free ads on this website and see what happens.

Sure wish we were closer. The chevy and gmc trucks probably aren't worth much, but the parts on them are worth something. Same with the tractors. I wouldn't scrap any of it, I think you could find it all a good home and get at least scrap price, maybe better.
Josh
