Your comment about not using plastic twine in a 14T has my curiosity up. Has that been your expeience? I have been using plastic but need to get more and am willing to switch over. Thanks.

I tried plastic twine in our NH 68 several years ago. I found that unless the bales were dead even, the bale would severely banana. Any handling would make it worse. I shortly switched back to twine.

Since the plastic stuff I used stretched quite a bit due to the bale tension, it was like cocking a slingshot at least compared to regular twine.

I've since seen straw bales that had plastic twine on them and they were fine. So anyway until something better comes along I will stick with the regular stuff.
