i assume that the rake is a ford 501 or 503. very little differnce, the rake u have described sounds like a 503. i recently painted and sold my 503 for $400 if u have a need for the rake i would give at least $350 for it with out hesitation

I seen a Ford 3-Point rake Pto driven last summer go for $425 at an aution. I don't what model it was but it was painted blue. It was in good condition. I thought that was a little high. Hope this helps.

I assume this is the PTO driven 3pt bar rake. For some reason the Ford rakes don't sell as well as the Furgeson rakes in my area. I bought a Fergie rake in the about the condition yours was in before you fixed it and paid $150 for it. In my area one in good mechanical condition will bring $325-375. They may pay a little more for fresh paint but usually not enough to offset the cost of painting. Hope this helps you out a little.
