Here's the most interesting question you'll read today: If a guy (me) wanted to get his hands on lots of knotter assemblies (maybe hundreds), which baler model from baler history would be the most abundant? Meaning, which manufacturer and model baler has historically been the most popular, and therefore the easiest to find? Also, I would assume this knotter assembly still had a good replacement parts industry backing it up. And what of that? Does anyone have any names of either full knotter assembly or knotter parts suppliers? Full assembly meaning knotters, frame, clutch, cam gears, etc. Don't ask why, the truth is stranger than fiction. Knotters, man, knotters!

Hee hee did you find the motherload?Remember to breath. As far as I know only two different main knotters just the good one was changed alittle for each machine.Alfull lot of new holland 77s were sold and seems about every tenth farm has a tree growing through one,but would want something a little newer. The Jd 14 and 24t alot of them are out there yet as long as you dont want to bale corn stalks they would be good for ya.Well any John Deere or New holland would do I guess around here the N.H must be the sales king(southern WI)But still I have to ask WHY?
