I have a JD50 sheller attachment for a 227 picker and also a JD30 combine. Both are in good shape, but I need to make some room in the shed. I hate to sell them for scrap, so is anyone interested in them? I'm not a collector, so don't know what they would be worth. Any suggestions??

Probably not worth too much, but that type of thing sells much better in 'small dairy' country. I notice farm auction near the south-central MN/Wisconsin border bring double or triple prices for such items than what they bring in the south central part of MN. Areas of Pennsylvania seem to bring more for such items.

It would help to know where you are located.

Thanks Paul for the info. I did forget to mention that I'm located in SW Minnesota, close to the Iowa border. Again, Thanks!

Hey, I'm over by New Ulm. Last fall there was an ad from the Sleepy Eye area who really wanted a JD30 reel. Anyhow, probably worth more up toward Farmington or over toward Wisconsin. I see 15-18' field cultivators sell for $200 by Slayton, & the same thing sell for $500 over in those regions, just for an idea of reginal differences.
