I bought a 532 in mint condition for $500. If you do a search or review old posts they are not well thought of. Mine has served me well but it was like new when I bought it. Knotter is fusy on one side, misses one every 75 on an average. A bigger draw back can be the narrow tires it is fitted with. The narrow tires leads to getting stuck easy in soft areas. I only broke or lost one part in 5 years, I ordered from Ford and got it in 2 days.

I have a 530 ford which is a real good baler. I wish it was a 532 because they will take in hay a lot faster than the 530. I have seen 532's in good shape go for as high as 2000.00 but they were in excellent shape. An old mistreated one may go for around 500.00. As far as parts go, I can get about anything I need at Ford/New Holland dealer.

I never heard much good said about any of the Ford baler line. I have heard bad. A lot of them did not tie knots consistently. Wonder where you would get parts or even owners/parts books for it these days.

If it's in really good shape and really cheap then maybe it's worth a try. Otherwise, a New Holland or Deere of some sort might be a better idea.
