I have posted a photo of the 3pt hicth rear sickle bar mower in the implement photos section. I now beleive it is a detroit harvester instead of a dearborn. Any info on this mower would help. I'm tring to get a manual for this mower.

Detroit Harvester & Dearborn are the same Ford owned the company , changed name to Ford about 1954 I think. I have a 14-2 Dearborn that I have restored See link below . they use the same components as all Dearborn mowers Bars and alot of parts will interchange I have bar form a Mid mount mower on mine . I retreived this one from my Father-n-laws farm where it had been sitting for over 30 years had trees growing up through it .

I believe that is the Detroit Harvestor mower that was made for both Ford (Dearborn) and Ferguson. Some just had the Dearborn Tag, others just the Ferguson tag, and some both. I have 3 of them laying around here in parts, hopeing to some day be able to set one up as Dearborn and a second as Ferguson. The companys don't even realize they were made or sold by them and no parts are avaible from dealers. I do have the books around here someplace but where is the question. Cannot remember the model numbers without the books. Some versions just used the stabilizer bracket under the right fender and some required the stabilizer bracket with the extra ball socket on for the breakaway to fasten too, otherwise just fastened to 3 point hitch.

I noticed this exchange while doing an Internet search for mower parts. I need one of those ball-socket brackets for under the right side of my Ford 8N so that i can mount a 14-15 Dearborn mower. Would you happen to have one of those brackets that you would sell? Thanks.
