Good afternoon all.Have any of ya'll had any dealings with a Schwartz 1400 loader.I have found one at a local farm store that came off an 856.I may try to buy it for my 706.I think it will fit right up to it.1500.00.Is that about right.Has good straight bucket and spear. All hoses and cylinders look good, with 2 lever controls.

Thanks

Hi, I have a swartz model 1400 loader on a 656 wide front. It works great and haven't had any problems except when I hook the hoses up back-ackwards and get myself confused with the lever directions. :) I wonder if parts are available? I've never needed any or tried to get any. Enjoy your day.

I don't know what the # of the loader was, but Schwartz made a lot of Loaders sold under the name Ford, Sahwartz, MM, Oliver, and White. I had 2 Fords on various IH tractors One I had a long time and carried thousands of round bales. When I got rid of it it had started to stress crack baddly. It had been a good loader though. I have a Great Bend Workmaster 800 now on a 706 and it is a much better loader than the Schwartz.
