OK I have a MF 124 Baler I have been workin on and have it working good. I also have another one for parts. the one I have been working on is now in pretty good shape. my question should I keep it and use it? was it a good baler in its day? should I sell it and get something else? I do about 40 acres of hay with 4 cuttings a year. I want a baler that will be dependable. I have been using a John Deere 348 and I really like it, but i nave to give it back. I need your advice Thanks

The Massey balers seem to work ok. Honestly if it works ok and you have a parts machine I see little reason to get rid of it unless dealer support is nonexistant/100 miles away. Like they say if it isn't broke don't fix it. Remember Massey is now AGCO so any AGCO brand can probiably get parts for that machine.

I have a 126 and just baled out 2100 bales without missing a lick. The two Hestons baled out 136 between the two. needless to say the mechanics were busy on the other side of the field. Keep It. Run it. Grease it. Oil it. Keep the knives sharp and the knotter clear. It will last you a long time.
