I've used them for years takes a little knowhow to learn to operate them. The manual has everything you need to know about them.Probably puts up the best quality hay of any baler ever made.

Depends on what you are trying to do with it.
One scenerio I've heard of was to bale first cutting with the Roto-baler leave the bales in the field, strip graze or stockpile the second cutting and let the cattle eat the bales along with the suceeding forage.

Most important thing is to make the windrow right- then it works fine. Two curls, side by side, 3-4 feet wide. Upper Midwest AC Club in Hutchinson, MN put out a booklet at their show this summer showing proper windrows, common problems, and how to adjust. I wish I had the means to post those pages here, but write to UMAC Club, 22241 200th St., Hutchinson, MN 55350.

They where a pretty good baler in there day but a pain in the $$##@ to use at times. You have to have the windrows just right or you end up with odd looking bales and the bales are hard to handle because of there shape. My self I would never own one again unless I could get it for little or nothing. Now days there worth around $10 for scrap and around $250 for one that works well

seemed to work ok but was an oddity in many areas. Better as a collectors item.
