In a previous topic you stated one could buy OEM belts for a JD rd baler for $200 each. Are these belts 3 ply and the same quality as the ones JD sells? My neighbor bought some cheaper aftermarket belts that aren't as heavy and tear alot easier. If they are same quality can you reveal souce? Thanks,Tx Jim

It is real simple Legg and Goodyear are OEM suppliers of JD. Hammond sells WCCO belts. WCCO belts are high quality & made in the USA but currently WCCO is not a JD supplier. EXCELL belts are imported. Just do a search for "Baler Belts" and you will see the major players. Most of the belts sold on EBay are 2nds and or imported belts of lower than OEM quality.
Look for a Company that will list their delivered price. So venders offer a lower individual price but charge freight. Look for the Free Freight or freight included prices. Some venders will not list their prices and want you to call and horse trade to get a good price.

Try these places for belts, you will need the model number of the baler too. Hal

Hammond Equip 334-627-3348 or baler-belting at 1-800-783-6279
