Adding front wheels to a bush hog

Until I can afford to buy a finish mower, I was thinking of adding two front casters to my bush hog, so I could mow my grass without it digging in and gouging the ground. It does a fine cutting job otherwise.

I can buy 6" pneumatic casters from Tractor Supply. I'd love to find a cheap source for the proper casters from a regular finish mower. I figured I would weld up some sturdy adjustable arms out of square tubing to support these.

In any event, just how outlandish is this idea? Know of any cheap sources of large, wide, heavy duty pneumatic casters?

it might work if you have a level yard a small tractor, and you make mounts from squar tubing with holes drilled in them to adjust the ride hight of it, i would use some type of tube tire so they dont dig into the ground , can make your casters buy using round stock with a large heavy washer to keep it into the squar tube with a lot of grease so it turns easy
