Looks like someone has done a little "engineering" on that lift linkage too?

That was just to get the leveler home. We didnt trust the seals in the cylinder so we rigged that up. Thanks for the amount of clearance with the wheel all of the way down. Since I dont know what the dimensions of the actual blade are it is hard to know where to set the frog with the blade I bought.

What I would like to know is the dimensions of the box. The previous owners have wore down the box so much that they welded the "Previously" removable blade into place and I would like to try to restore it to it's designed specifications if at all possible.

When in its most lifted state with the wheels in the rear how much blade clearance should there be to the ground? How much bite should I be able to obtain with the wheels fully retracted so the box is in it's lowest state. What are the dimensions of the frog that holds the blade in place? Are parts like that available from any sources that I can weld back into place after I cut out the welded in removable blade?

Thanks,

Joe

Going by memory here, that was a long time ago and I don't want to tell you wrong.

However, with the wheels forward and the tongue hooked to the tractor, in the raised position, there was roughly 6" of clearance between the blade and the ground.

Back then, they would stop a tractor cold in it's tracks. Used the stop on the cylinder to set the depth when leveling and would usually cut about an inch or so.

Looks like someone has done a little "engineering" on that lift linkage too?

What about 'em?

Darned good old scraper. Wheels in the back for leveling; pull 'em around tuck 'em up to the sides for just moving dirt.

Dunno, might hold a yard of dirt or so?

If you do a search for it in the implement photos section there is a photo of the leveler.
