Didnt get over to look at it yet, with a wind chill of -23 today and tomorrow doubt if will make it tomorrow either. No it hasnt been stored inside! The owner told me today that if I wanted it I could come and get for $35, said he knew he could get more then that out of it for iron but he hated to see it cut up so sure would be worth looking into from what I've heard so far!! Thanks for the imput everyone!!

If its been stored inside it should work .I would think they were pretty much bullet proof .Dad had 2 of them ,the first one had the elevator off the left side the 2ond was out the back.We either had to have a neighbor with a mounted picker open up the fields or mostly shuck several rows by hand leave it in piles and come back later and pick up the piles.

May very well be worth looking at, and buying if you have room for it. I bought my Number 5 (probably what it is) eight years ago for $125. It works very well; in fact I plan on restoring mine with paint, decals, etc, this summer.

Probably a No. 5. It was a very popular model and did a good job of picking. Worth - maybe 100 - 250.
