Yesterday I bought a Kelley mechanical-trip front-end loader for my Super H Farmall; it had also come off a Super H. The decal on the loader said "Kelley Company, Manawashta (or something similar) Indiana. I have never seen a loader like this in Minnesota; and was hoping someone in Indiana or nearer to it could help me with information about the company (is it still in business?) years of manufacture, etc. Also, proper color of their loaders. Thanks.

Thanks to all for your comments and information about this loader and company. I'd never seen this type of loader until last Saturday, nor had the used machinery dealer that sold it to me, and he has been in business and farming for 60 years. Obviously not common here in Minnesota. One more question for Kelley loader owners: Is the yellow shade closer to John Deere yellow, or caterpillar yellow?

I couldn't answer that, mine is more of a rust yellow. I would use caterpillar. Really won't matter no one else will know if you have the only one.

Is this the Kelley Manufacturing Company that is commonly known as KMC? I have a 4 row rolling cultivator made by them and we have a KMC peanut digger.

I don't believe so, from a Google search there seems to be two Kelley's. The one we are talking about is in Indiana the other is in Georgia.

Some pretty much summed it up. I have one that came off my Cockshutt. They were a yellow color. I also have a backhoe made by them at work...They company is right down the road from the Hummer plant.

Kelley manufacturing is still in business in mishawaka, Ind. Google them, they have a web site.
I have a kelley loader on my 460, all hydraulic, works great, wish it had a little more lift on the lift arms, but seems to work okay by using the bucket tilt. my loader is yellow, which seems to still be the color unless its for a compact tractor, in which case, its black. The company has been around since 1912
