Disc Chisel Identity

I bought this early vesion of a disc chisel off the side of the road. The shank spacing is not adjustable, but the depth has three adjustment holes.

I can find no identification tag. The few spots of visible paint could be black, green, yellow, or white. Nice looking welds and the disc hub have part numbers cast into them that start with a "Z".

Looks like it might be a bed splitter for ripping out raised beds in vegetable operations.

Probably some homemade thing that someone put together. Disc chisels are not built that way. On a disc chisel, discs on each side of the machine throw the dirt the same way, rather than a splitting pattern.

Northwest Ohio. It seems like a pretty handy tool as long as the shanks provide enough down pressure to transfer to the discs.
