I have a small plow that flips left and right. Looks like it is made to pull behind a Cub cadet or something. I don't know much about it or even if it's worth keeping. Anyone ever hear of them?

The crank tells me that it was made for a garden tractor as that was the way to give the proper suck to the share, it is not a horse, mule plow converted. would be for a 2 wheel walking garden tractor as to get it out of the ground you tipped the tractor forward and then you would br right at the plow to flip it the other way. Simular to what is shown in the old Wards farm catalogs from 40's-50's. Would look nice on one of my 2 wheel tractors at shows.

leroy, i still wonder about the plow. all the mule drawn ones i've seen had a latch that had to be triped to make it flop over. i just don't understand with the crank on it and unless there is a rope missing to trip it with i'm at a lose about what it is. it looks like every mule drawn plow i've ever had r seen as for as the plow point and wings go. just one of the do hickis my friend talks about i guess.

The tractor controled the height or depth of the plow and that crank is the same as the top link on a 3 point hitch. not sure about the releace to flip the bottom but the crank has nothing to do with fliping the bottom but controls the suck of the share.

doesn't make any sense for it to be mounted to a tractor, unless somebody was at each end of the futtow to trip it and make it flop over to make the next through. it appears to me to have been made up to fit a tractor from a mule drawn version. they actually triped the plow at the end of the furrow and made the mule turn a certain way at each end to make the plow flop over to go back where it just came from. some of those plows were huge like the jd version.

Haven't seen one of those, but there's a Vulcan two way like that in the horse drawn version at that historic farm out behind Renfro Valley Kentucky.

It's an old design from horse drawn days. I have a horse drawn model, that looks like it's for a David Bradley or Simplicity tractor. Unusual, but I don't know about "rare" as in "valuable".
