Is this plow scrap or useful?

Still cleaning up the fields and such and got some GREAT finds today.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about this plow. I assume it goes to the front of a tractor but beyond that, I can't even find a plate to tell me what make it is. Is it worth anything more than scrap? Hate to junk it if it might be useful.

Thanks in advance!

You just wait - at least here I can be confident it's a plow, I found some stuff in the woods today where I can't even take a large scale, WA guess what they are! More pictures coming up.

I suspect my dad's family ran this on their old JD 40 then.... The pulleys are there I think, but not sure about plates to the back, would have to look more closely.

you're giving us quite an adventure with your stuff. :)

that would be a front plow for (probably) a narrow front tractor. i had a super c with a similar blade. it looks like cables on it that would have run up over a pulley on each side of the front frame, and back to the 3pt hitch to raise and lower the blade. there would also be a mounting plate/pin for each side on the back axle. if the pulleys and plates are missing, i'd say this one is closer to scrap than most of your other machines. (don't whip me, old.)

No offense taken.... I've got a blade for a 3 point that we run on a 1957 JD 420 and I have a backhoe so I don't really need anything like this and don't want to scrap it but figured I could learn about it before I posted for sale/free somewhere.

We're cleaning up around the barn and fields where my dad grew up and used to farm. He passed away in November suddenly and this is the tail end of a cleanup/barn remodel project we started with him a few years ago.

Not to offend but if you scrap that you need to be whipped big time. If I had it I could sure figure out some way to use it. But to me there is almost not scrap iron it all can be used some how
