Grew up on a NH 269 and used it until about 3 years ago, thought it was the best baler built until I found the JD 346 I have now. Been using it for three years and have never looked back at that old NH yet.

Got a JD 346 wire and it is a great baler. Makes good bales and the wide pickup is nice. Never ran a twine one but I would imagine they are as good as the wire ones.

I have one too. Excellent baler. And those wire balers are so nice! I'll never go back to twine, broken bales and knotters again. Of course, I don't hardly ever have extra hay to sell. If selling, lot of people want the twine bales. In that case, you have to produce what sells, I guess.

Great baler, one of the best ever made.
