Grapple Bucket???

Hey fellas, I guess a bucket would be an attachment, I want to add a root style grapple bucket to my loader. I was bent on making it myself but with business as crazy as it is right now I can't take the time off to do the work. I would have to pay out for the cnc plasma cutting for making all the pieces and I think in the end would not be far off of what I could buy one for.
I am however concerned about weight. I concidered adding one to my pallet forks but that would require me to cut the rack off of the top and that dosen't thrill me.
Any advice or recomendations you can provide would be greatly appriciated.

Anbo Mfg. in Washington state makes a stout looking grapple for tractors and skid steer loaders.

There's a company in Denton, NC, that makes grapple buckets for skidloaders, I think the name of the company is pihrana (like the fish), they advertise in the truck trader or heavy equipment trader magazines, I bought one soon after I bought my ASV RC-30 loader, the most used attachment I have for it. The one they built for me was 48" and cost $ 1100, or 1200 including shipping to MD. They custom made it, as their standard size is 5' wide. Give them a try, suggest doing a google search.

Forgot to mention I have a 574 international with some unknown type of loader but have adapted it to a universal skid steer attachment.

Horst, Virnig, ATI, Worksaver and probably about a dozen others make variations on that theme. Horst and Virnig are very stout, Worksaver and perhaps ATI will be lighter in weight and duty capability.
