I have been working on my NH65 square baler,

oil and grease up all points i could find.

When the baler was running, greasing the long chain,

from flywheel to rear end, the chain run off.

there i don't have a manual from this baler,
about the timing moments, and no knowledge from balers,
because this is my first baler, i ask for help.

-

Can i put the chain back on the teethwheels without checking anything?

without damaging anything?

-

If you have any answers or ducumentation/information?

Please send the it to me, my website Link

in the leftside menu hit the EMAIL-button.

Many thanks if you can help me..

Best regards from Holland

I'm sorry I don't know anything about e-mail. Is that bad or what? Anyway about the baler. You will need to time it by trial and error. put the chain back on and turn the fly wheel by hand in the correct operating direction. The alum fingers that pull the hay into chamber should be just out of the way so the plunger don't shear them off. If they are not yet out of chamber then move the chain a couple teeth on the sprocket and try it again. Keep moving a couple teeth at a time untill the teeth are out of the way then turn the fly wheel to finish its stroke and make sure the plunger is out of the way before the teeth enter chamber again. This is a rather tedius job but you will eventually find that sweet spot where everything is out of the way for the next process. Question? Why did the chain run off? There is a adjusting sprocket to keep chain tight. Is it set right? is chain stretched out so you can not get enough slack out with adjuster sprocket? If so you need to replace the chain. You cannot take a link out because that will throw the baler out of time. you always need the same number of links in that chain.
