Category 4/5 driveline PTO differences?

What are the differences between Category 4 and Category 5 implement drivelines? I assume the U-joints at least are heavier. What about the slip clutch, and (most important to me) the splined coupling to the PTO shaft? Is it possible to use an implement with a Cat 5 driveline on a Cat 4 tractor (assuming the tractor is not overloaded)? I found the article defining Cat 0-3 3pt hitch dimensions, but haven't found anything comparable for drivelines.

I didn't know there were different categories of PTO. I know there are different weights of them, just thought they were rated by horsepower, not category. Anywho. ANy 540 coupler will fit any 540 shaft, regardless of category. There are 2 different sizes of 1000 PTO. I forget what the diameters are, but a quick measure of your shaft and you can get the right one. You should be OK running a heavy driveshaft as long as the implement you are running isn't too much for the tractor.
