How common is a coop 1 row corn picker modle N 2 or somthing like that? Is it worth saving from the scrap colector?

Adam,

another note is that some guys around here really
thought the COOP was a good picker. If you restore it, you may want to use it to demonstrate how it worked, have fun, etc. Anyway, you wouldn't be restoring something that wasn't worth
much new.

our state fair has a coop picker in it's museum. so i guess it's safe to say there arent many around. as long as people think they can make money by spending $70.oo on acetaline to cut up $0.oo worth of metal! lol as soon as i find a larger place am going to work on my corn picker collection !=) better to be fisrt on the implement bandwagon while they are still cheap ,than last when they are impossible to find or buy ! good luck !=)

I'd save it if I could. Don't think there are too many of those around. I'm sure there is a CO-OP collector around somewhere who'd just love to get his hands on one of those pickers if he could find one. Lots of that old machinery went for scrap here in New Jersey over the past 25 years, and now people are lamenting over what they've lost, and collectors are scrambling to find implements to go with their tractors.

From what I've read, implement collecting is a growing interest. Seems old tractors are getting harder to find, and many guys realize that just having the tractor doesn't tell the whole story, that you need the implements that were designed to go with it.

My uncle rescued an F-20 from a fencerow near his house and has fixed it up nicely, but unfortunately the implements that went with it met the torch many years ago.
