IT'S TIME FOR A STUPID QUESTION. I NEED TO DRAIN THE GEAR OIL IN MY BUSHHOG AND I CAN'T FIND A DRAIN PLUG. I HAVE A 5' BUSHHOG BRAND ROTARY MOWER, IT HAS BEEN SITTING OUT IN THE RAIN FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND I NOTICED THE GEAR BOX HAS GOT WATER IN IT. I DON'T SEE A WAY TO GET THE OIL OUT WITHOUT TURNING THE WHOLE THING OVER AND DRAINING IT OUT THE TOP, AND I JUST DON'T FEEL UP TO DOING THAT TONIGHT. IT IS ALMOST DARK SO IF THERE IS SOME OBVIOUS DRAIN PLUG THAT I AM MISSING I DO HAVE A DECENT EXCUSE. IF ANYONE HAS THE SOLUTION I'D APPRECIATE THE INFO. ALSO I GEUSS I OUGHT TO GET THE MANUAL FOR THE DURN THING IN CASE I HAVE ANY MORE SERVICE QUESTIONS, IS THERE ANYWHERE ON HERE I CAN ORDER ONE. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ADVICE. VA.

There is no drain plug. Either tip it over, or use a suction device available at your local autoparts store. It is like a grease gun without the pump, just a hand-operated piston and a suction tube on the top.
