Does anyone have information on a Aspenwall potato planter. I have one that appears to be very old and was horse drawn. I saw a story in Antique farm equiptment mag. the one they had was newer than the one I have. I would like to restore it. It would go with my restored 47 farmall cub.

Your in the same boat Iam in. Purchase one it has two canvas bags, they need to be replaced but otherwise in good shape like to restore it to pull with my 1948 Farmall Cub. My main concern was the colors of it. Maybe we can keep in touch if we find out any information will past it on. Thanks ,,, Ed

I have one that I think is a 1909 or thereabouts. I have the operator's manual and some sales literature too. We planted potatoes with it up until four years ago.

We have one of these planters also. I am 46 years old and it has been on this farm since I can remember. It has the cloth hoppers. We have used it several times. I would like to find a manual for it.I live in central Iowa.
