Has anyone had any experience with Farm Star post hole diggers? I believe it's made by Worksaver. Their two websites are very similar. Thanks for any help. Festus

I got a 15 year old or so one just like the website shows. It's rough looking, but has dug holes all around our neighborhood. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. I use a 12" auger on my ford 2N. It works fine.

Good luck,
Steve

I used to work at a store that sold them. As far as I know they are both the same. The company is Worksaver. I always thought Farmstar was just the name of the digger. We sold them for several years. I don't recall having any trouble out of the gearbox or frame. We had a little trouble getting cutting teeth for awhile. They were in the process of changing designs so we never knew which one we were going to get.
They seem to be a good unit. I wouldn't be afraid of them. Expect to pay between 5 and 6 hundred dollars depending on which auger you get
