Am looking for a 12-14' set of discs from the late 60's or early 70's, what are the best discs from that era need something fairly heavy but not an offset because I need it for finishing to. What IH disc models where built during this era? Thanks

Don't know much about older IH discs but we had a 490 which was newer and bigger but did a good job. IH always did have good tillage tools. You might look for an Oliver (later White) 252, 253, 262, or 263 model disc. I know Oliver sold a lot of discs (and other tillage tools) to a lot of farmers who had "other color" tractors etc. on their farms.
