I have a brush hog, it's a trailer type, PTO/gearbox driven. It's in realtively good shape.
The name on the gearbox says "Warner Auburn, Ind."
Does anyone know what a reasonable price would be to sell it at. It still works good, needs painted.
Thanks....

Last I knew Warner Gear is still in business. They have combined and are now Borg Warner. As far as price, I imagine the rest of your machine was made by some other company. Could bring anywhere from $100 to $500.

Around here a rotary mower in reasonable running condition and not an orphan would go for about $500. 3PH is more popular than pull-behind and if it has an over-riding clutch that would be a plus. Price goes downhill fast if there's any thing wrong with gearbox, universals or flywheel bearing. Paint doesn't count that much.

Hello, I have been up half the night trying to find parts for my brush hog made like yours. I have been every where in this area looking for parts. Where are you from? I live in Missouri bought it in south central Iowa. Hope to hear from you. Jim
