A few days ago someone was asking how to tow a highway trailer with a rotating toolbar. A simple way to do this is take a piece of 2" square tube a couple of feet long weld a loop on one end move back about six inches and mount a trailer ball that fits your trailer hitch, now put ball in trailer coupler then go to back of tube and either bolt to trailer tounge or make a hook that you slip tube over before to hook to coupler. This will give to a ridged connection that can be pulled with a standard clevis. Tube could be replaced by a chunk of channel or solid bar that might be laying around. this works very well and is easy to remove to hitch to truck or car as usual. Have Fun

Don't forget the saftey chains. (D.O.T. is starting to frown on pulling a clevis type of hitch , be carefull)
