Do the 3 point hitch mounted backhoes require duel hydraulic hook ups on your tractor or will a single work?

Typically, they will require only supply and return lines. There should be control valves on the backhoe unit. For better flow rates, however, a PTO pump and separate resivoir is better.

The woods models use their own pump driven bythe tractors pto.

Father-in-law's PTO powered unit runs too fast, even when tractor is idling. You might want to ask for a demonstration before you buy. Sorry, I can't give you a brand name.

my mephew has a DUAL and runs off tractor hdy. it is real handy and will dig six feet deep its mounted on 1086 INT easy to take off etc good machine
