i recently purchased a 1 yard erathmover/carryall to use behind my ford jubilee. it has wheels on the back. the hitch hooks up to the lift arms. on the upper link there is an attachment which hooks to a chain that goes through the tongue of the carryall to the front apron of the scraper. by adjusting the tension of the chain you determine when it opens and closes.the back part of the bucket has a lever with a rope attached. the operator simply pulls the rope to dump the earthmover/carryall. it took me a whole year to find this non hydraulic earthmover. does anyone no who made them? is there any literature on them? does anyone else use these? plese give me any answers you can. thanx!

It sounds like it might be an Overland Scraper, made in Glendale,Ca., by the Western Equipment Co.
Well done! I've been looking for a year and haven't found one yet! There are some other makes out there too; I'll check my files and see what I come up with. Send me a picture, and I might be able to identify it. Keith.

Soil Mover Company makes a 1 and 1/2 yard heaped rig mounts on the 3pt draw bar. they made a tiny one for a Cub, I made one for mine, my neighbor has a 2 yard that his Grandpa build puls it with a small 4x4 Kubota
