The only drag scraper I have seen is a "tumble-bug" type scraper. It is made from a drum with one section cut out and a cutting edge put at the edge of the missing section. With that part down, the rig scrapes. Then a lever is pulled in the scraper rolls about half a round and the tractor drags the drum full of dirt. When pulled again, the drum rotates almost another half a turn and the dirt is dumped out. It is then reset to scrape again. (Hard to explain without seeing it in action) Hope this helps.

I have made 3 types of scraper for my hydrauic cub, Im not super familiar with the Hand lifts but i belive they have the spring assist. My first one is like a reynolds pan, has 2 wheels and a tilting bowl to dump. its used on the hinged draw bar with the cultivator lift has a gravity trip. works good holds more than a 32 inch 3pt mdel plus better at grading. the next is like a drag behind box blade with 2 wheels on a pivot and a hdraulic cylinder to raise and lower it, had a 12 volt cylinder on it works good for grading but only drags load, the cutting edge is at a more aggressive angle than a box blade for digging. The third is like a box blade but is under the middle works on the cultivator lift. All have advantages and are simple to make.
